8th Line Software (“Eighth Line Software”, “the service(s)”,”we”,”us”), is a Canadian based organization committed to protecting your privacy by following all applicable Canadian federal and provincial legislation. Our services are currently restricted to the Canadian market.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When accessing our web based services, Sched2k and HaDmin, we may collect anonymous, statistical information based on the usage of those websites, for example the browser you used and the pages you visited. When using our Android and IOS based services, S2K Lite and HaDmin Lite we may collect anonymous usage information. Our “lite” services collect, share, and/or use data collected via Google AdMob’s services.
INFORMATION USAGE
The web services based data we gather may be used by 8th Line Software for the generation of reports on traffic and usage statistics. The Android services based data gathered, may be used by 8th Line Software with Google Analytics reports.
SHARING INFORMATION
8th Line Software does not share any data collected by our web based services, nor would we solicit or email you for any reason outside of functions within our services, ie emailing game reports to coaching staff members and game assignments to referees. If required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency), we would be legally obligated to provide the requested information.
LINKS TO OTHER SITES
Our Android and IOS lite apps use Google AdMob that contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
COOKIES
Our web based services, Sched2k and HaDmin use session cookies to track your activity in these services. No personal identifiable information is stored in these cookies which expire when you close your browser.
DATA SECURITY
Hosting services for Sched2k and HaDmin are provided by HostPapa, a Canadian company with global hosting sites. Given the nature of the VPS services we use from HostPapa, we cannot guarantee collected data will be exclusively located in Canada. HostPapa secures the data on servers in a controlled, secure environment. They maintain safeguards to protect against unauthorized access, use, modification, and disclosure of this data.
Both Sched2k and HaDmin use industry standard SSL encryption.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
8th Line Software reserves the right to make changes to this privacy policy. Any changes will be posted to this website. Use of our websites is subject to the then current privacy policy.
